It is not right that they are allowed to get away with such low ratings and stay open. Sit at a meal and ask yourself if you could stand to be there. I came to this place for therapy for my hip. I was in and out in 2 weeks and couldn't be more pleased.
They're very good with their activities and keeping their people up to date on things. I had one relative move to the wellness center from assisted living, and I would not do that if you can avoid it. They don't have the activities, and they're kind of isolated in wellness. Nutritious meals are one of the most important and valued benefits of senior living.

The staff, nurses and aids, do not respond to the call light in a timely manner. I have personally seen a nurse verbally abuse multiple residents. The administration responds positively and appears to be helpful but there is absolutely no follow through. If I could give this facility 0 stars, I would.

My mom was there recently and they basically put her in a room and left her. She would go days without her clothes being changed. They would bring her food and put it on the tray but never moved it near her so she could eat.. We had to ask them to give her oxygen, we had to point out to them that one of her arms was turning black. Clearly if they don''t have staff to care for the patients then don''t take them. Extremely disappointed in this place.
I toured several senior communities for my mother, and very quickly Burr Ridge Senior Living rose to the top of the list, being head and shoulders above all the others. It is a newer community, just under... Any issue, mom is taken care of right away. It's a very nice first floor and there is an outside door to an enclosed garden, which is great. We picked this community because, the cost is frozen through out time there.
They did do a great job at keeping everything clean. There was a few times that my loved one's room needed a good vacuuming. I would recommend Arden Court of Elk Grove to anyone. The facility staff are kind and small enough that our questions were answered quickly. Never once unhappy with Arden Courts.

I had to give this facility one star - not given the choice of none. This facility is a not a place you would want you loved one cared for. For Physical Therapy it is great for general nursing care it is deplorable. Some, not all CNA staff are rude and do not have care and compassion for the residents. Loved one is left lying in urine for hours, call buttons are placed out of reach of the resident. This facility was not one of my top choices upon my loved one's release from the hospital but the only one with an open bed.
